Color Me Melo was born from a dream, a divine appointment, and a leap of faith. In 2015, just before her 55th birthday, Melo had never picked up a paintbrush — but she was moved by an idea that wouldn't let go: to create a paint & sip experience that was more than just painting — it was about connection, creativity, and joy.

With no formal art background but plenty of heart and hustle, Melanie “Melo” Smith turned that vision into a vibrant mobile business that brings color and creativity directly to the people. Since then, she’s hosted everything from private celebrations to large-scale corporate events, working with respected names like Wienerschnitzel, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Claremont Colleges, IEHP, and nonprofits like Khemo Buddies.
